Professional Diploma in Web & Interactive Design
The Professional Diploma in Web and Interactive Design is aimed at teaching the basics of Web site design, graphics, interactive elements and animation developed specifically for the Internet.
It is an exciting programme providing the students with the fundamental principles of Internet Computing and subsequently consolidating this with a creative approach to the design and management of digital interactive media and animation. Through an understanding of Internet computing, the technology behind the internet and the practical skills needed in the implementation of web-based interactive and multimedia components, this course is geared at preparing the students to work in contemporary web design studios, online advertising studios and the online industries.
Students will explore the various site design models used in personal, commercial and government Web sites, and will design Web pages and Web sites utilizing a variety of techniques and software tools.
